Constipation Signs

There are numerous signs of constipation. Sufferers usually experience feeling bloated similar to being full after a large meal. With no bowel movement in several days, any bowel movement feels insufficient with the toxins remaining in the body.

What happens with too many medicines

With the waste and toxins not getting flushed out of the system, the colon, also known as the body’s “second brain,” sends out signals signifying that all is not well. Some foods and liquids do not contribute to cleaning the system and can even aggravate the issue further. Although there are people who find taking chemical medications more convenient, it is not often safe. As some medicines cause side effects, there are some who turn to other medicines to treat the side effects caused by the first set of medicines. The build-up of certain medicines can also cause constipation or even diarrhea.

Constipation remedies

Laxatives are some of the more common remedies used in treating constipation. They work by stimulating the muscles responsible in bowel movement. As these types of liquids force the colon to absorb as much water as possible, the consumption of laxatives often result to diarrhea, an imbalance in electrolytes and even dehydration. More recent products on the market offer more natural laxatives. These can contain substances such as rhubarb, buckthorn, aloe and senna. Similar to synthetic forms of laxative, these can result to feeling dehydrated and diarrhea. In comparison to laxatives, powdered fiber is safer and provides the body the much needed nutrients without leaving it dehydrated.

Finally!!!!!!!!

For a more natural alternative, consider fruits and vegetables instead. Constipation is often a result of poor diet, stress or both. Consume more fruits and vegetables such as pears and prunes. Raw olive oil can also help softening stools. Avoid processed or refined foods such as white flour or rice. Instead, consume whole grain alternatives. With these tips, stomach constipation no longer needs to be a problem.
