However, you should make sure that you are eating the right kind of food as unhealthy foods do not reduce the risk of serious diseases. You may occasionally munch on some chips or chocolates. Gradually switch to eating fruits and vegetables so you can make sure that you are not posing another threat to your health.

You may also come up with a list or reasons why you want to quit smoking. Your list will serve as your reminder why there is a need for you to kick the habit. These reasons should come with explanations. You can also go through these reasons when you have the urge to smoke. It will help you resist the desire for cigarettes when you have these reasons handy.

Quit smoking, cessation plan can also be coupled with exercise and other rigorous activities that will help you stay away from cigarettes for good. Physical activities relive stress and reduce your longings. If you have enough time to hit the gym, do so as this can help you have a relax mind and become totally stress-free. Discipline is also important when you decide to quit. Without this, you will keep on going back to the same habit over and over again.
